Summit Academy has
been educating and enriching accelerated and gifted students
since 1980. The Academy is a co-educational, college-preparatory
school serving two-year olds through eighth grade.
At Summit Academy your child will grow within an academic and
nurturing environment. It is a place where fun and learning come
together, as enthusiastic and highly qualified educators focus
on your child's best interests and talents. An enriched and accelerated
curriculum encourages the achievement of your child's greatest
potential by creating a love of learning and building a desire
for personal accomplishment.
Small class sizes,
individualized learning plans, foreign language studies beginning
at age three, daily physical education, resesarch-based curriculum,
parent-support system with before and after-care programs, a
commitment to family and school partnerships are hallmarks of
Summit Academy's child-centered approach to education.
Summit Academy is accredited
by the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation
and School Improvement. In addition, Summit Academy’s program
for two-year-olds is licensed by the Illinois Department of Children
and Family Services.
We serve the community by teaching children who are out of the range of standard education by maximizing individual potential in a caring environment. We engage students in all phases of the growth process which enables them to live good and happy lives.
