Summit conducts informal
screenings for children under the age of five, allowing the staff
to meet every child and pre-assess developmental levels. New
students seeking admission, age six through eighth grade, must
submit a portfolio, past school records, and participate in a
formal screening. This information assists the school in determining
the student's ability to perform in a challenging academic environment
with high expectations.
Summit Academy's
child-centered approach to learning is one both you and your
child will enjoy. Many rooms allow observation through closed
circuit television whereby you experience "live" a
classroom in progress. Summit encourages each parent to take
a personal tour and discover first hand what makes Summit Academy
a wonderful place for children to start and grow.
For more information,
call the admissions office at 847-468-0490 or Email the admissions director. Enrollment is
open throughout the year if space is available. Common forms
are available for download.
