For 56 years, Summit School has helped thousands of children develop the necessary academic and interpersonal skills to lead productive and meaningful lives. Summit School is a therapeutic day treatment program approved by the State of Illinois as a 14-7.02 private education center and is Cognia-accredited.
Summit is dedicated to fulfilling the needs of children with learning differences from kindergarten through high school graduation. Students with learning disabilities, emotional and anxiety issues, or on the autism spectrum attend Summit School from nearly 25 school districts throughout the Chicago area.
Our program is designed to teach coping and educational strategies in order to return students to their home schools, or to graduate students to move onto post-secondary education or employment.
